Well, it's a new year! To say goodbye to 2011, I wrote about my experiences here. I must warn it's not the happiest of things to read, but I dearly hope this year will be more bearable. I also put together my top tracks of 2011 here. Other than saying goodbye to a nightmarish past year, I've been doing a lot of reading, watching Brideshead Revisited (oh, it breaks my heart! I can only watch on episode every so often for fear that I'll shatter into tiny, irreparable pieces.) and preparing for the upcoming academic year. I am almost definitely moving away from home and into the city in February, which is making me very nervous. I think, though, that if I can prove to myself I can do this, things might just improve. You're always stronger than you know, right? I wish everyone the best for the upcoming year, and I hope I'll have lots of nice adventures to tell you about.

Hello, Emily. I adore finding secret friends in unexpected places. I was Star Atlas on tumblr, and might I add that Unicorn Chasing was a firm favourite. What a lovely blog you have here, I shall most definitely be following.
