mother has gone on a little holiday for a week so i'm left in charge of the house. i made muffins today, but only from a packet mix. i usually prefer to make them from scratch, but the mix had already been bought so i thought i should use it. i feed the chickens and hope the rogue rooster doesn't jump up and flap in my face because he occasionally becomes very aggravated for no reason anyone can determine. otherwise, i am trying to recover from illness (i haven't posted nearly half as much as i wanted to over this whole year, but maybe now i'll be getting my strength back and will have opportunity and time for such things). really my days are consisting of cleaning, talking to the house animals in baby voices, and resting. i like it.
